Photographed at Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado, this three-image series explores the quiet motion of wind across the desert. The dunes are constantly shifting, yet for brief moments the light reveals their structure—ripples of sand, sweeping ridges, and patterns that stretch toward the horizon.

Each photograph explores a different expression of the landscape: grasses clinging to the dunes, intricate wind-carved textures, and the sweeping forms of sand beneath drifting clouds.

Printed on metallic-based fine art paper, the images take on a subtle glow that echoes the brilliance of sunlit sand.

This collection includes three fine-art prints, each measuring 16 × 24 inches, printed on metallic-based fine art paper and currently produced on Moab Slickrock Luster. The metallic surface enhances tonal depth and brings out the intricate textures of the dunes.

The photographs are printed to reveal exceptional detail from foreground to horizon. Wind-shaped ripples in the sand lead the eye across the dunes and into the sky, where thin clouds stretch across deep blue. The depth of field allows the viewer to explore every part of the scene—from individual grains of sand to the distant curves of the landscape.

Each print is signed and numbered by the artist.

The three photographs are presented as a matched framed series, shipped ready to hang. Each print is mounted in a 1¼-inch white frame with a clean contemporary presentation and no matting, allowing the photograph to fill the frame and maintain its visual impact.

Collector Note

About the Prints

Each photograph is printed using archival pigment inks on Moab Slickrock Luster, a metallic-based fine art paper chosen for its ability to render both subtle tonal transitions and the luminous quality of reflected light on sand. The surface produces rich blacks, bright highlights, and exceptional detail across the entire image.

Every print is produced with careful attention to tonal balance and sharpness so that the smallest textures—such as the wind-carved ripples in the sand—remain visible when viewed up close, while the full scene retains its depth and clarity from across the room.

Each print is individually inspected, signed, and numbered by the artist.

Edition and Authenticity

This triptych is offered as a limited edition of 200 complete sets. Each set includes three prints that are individually numbered as part of the edition.

The prints are signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity identifying the title of the work, the edition number, and the year of production.

The edition will be produced gradually over time as collectors acquire the work. Once the edition is complete, no additional prints of these images in this presentation will be produced.

Each print also bears a gold foil authentication seal on the reverse, along with printed edition and production details attached to the back of the framed work.
